Bhubaneswar, 4 September 2025

Aspiring to be a major hub of India in semiconductors and the advanced electronics field, Odisha Government Wednesday signed two MOUs worth Rs 2,665 crore in the semiconductor sector at SemiconIndia 2025 held at New Delhi.

One Memorandum of Understanding was signed with TopTrack Hi-Tech PCB Pvt. Ltd, which would see an investment of Rs 1,005 crore, while the second MoU was entered into with SancodeTech in technological collaboration with Silicon Connect, Inari Amertron Berhard and APIRC Penang, which will see an investment of Rs 1,650 crore.

The Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also met a delegation from Renesas Electronics led by Malini Narayanamoorthi, the country head of Renesas India. Renesas, a global leader in embedded semiconductor solutions, expressed interest in forming joint ventures as a techlogy partner for collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar for embedded design training. Majhi also held discussions with SEMI CEO Ajit Manocha.

“I had the privilege to inaugurate the Odisha Pavillion, where we signed MOUs worth Rs. 2655 crore with TopTrack Hi-Tech PCB Pvt. Ltd and Sancode Tech in technological partnership with Silicon Connect, Inari Amertron Berhad and APIRC Penang, while engaging with global majors like Intel, Micron, West Digital, Renesas and Siemens.
These engagements mark a decisive step in positioning Odisha as a preferred global destination for the semiconductor and advanced electronics industry. With landmark projects under the India Semiconductor Mission, along with the Odisha Semiconductor Manufacturing & Fabless Policy 2025 and the Electronics Component Manufacturing (ECM) Policy 2025, we are committed to building a world-class ecosystem for innovation, manufacturing, and investment in semiconductors and electronics,” Odisha CM wrote in a social media post.
