Meta launched a new model of artificial intelligence called Meta Motivo, which is aimed at enabling digital avatars to move in a very realistic and human-like manner. This new AI would enhance the Metaverse-the virtual world in which people interact through digital spaces and avatars. Meta believes it will essentially bring users closer to a lifelike experience in the Metaverse.

Meta has been investing a lot in AI, augmented reality, and Metaverse technologies. In 2024, the company will spend as much as $40 billion to build better tools and experiences for the Metaverse. It believes that this technology will eventually allow users to interact more naturally with their surroundings.

Apart from Meta Motivo, the company also gives many of its AI tools for free to developers. Sharing the tools would encourage developers to develop better software and services for its platforms, as Meta believes this approach would improve the business while offering new avenues for innovation.

Meta Motivo emphasizes the improvement of the movement of avatars in virtual environments. In most games or virtual worlds, avatars rarely move naturally. The issue can be addressed through Meta Motivo, allowing avatars to perform movements that are visually and sensually closer to humans. Such virtual experiences may make them more authentic and enjoyable for users.

Meta is also launching a new model for language processing that it has dubbed the Large Concept Model, or LCM. Unlike most AI models that predict the next word of a sentence, the LCM will predict the next idea or concept. It could result in much more sophisticated and accurate AI communications in the future and can help computers understand language better.

Lastly, Meta came out with a tool called Video Seal that seals videos with invisible marks and can be tracked through watermarks. Meta continued releasing tools to improve security as part of its initiative on security and content protection within digital circles.

Overall, Meta is working to build a more advanced and immersive Metaverse by developing new AI technologies and sharing them with the developer community. These efforts could change the way we interact in virtual spaces, making them more realistic and engaging.
