HAL expands civil helicopter portfolio with ₹1,800 crore Pawan Hans order

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed a contract with state-owned Pawan Hans Ltd for the supply of 10 Dhruv Next Generation (NG) helicopters, along with associated spares and accessories. The agreement, signed in Hyderabad, is valued at over ₹1,800 crore and has been awarded by a domestic entity.

The helicopters are scheduled to be delivered by 2027. The order further strengthens HAL’s order book and reinforces its position in India’s civil and utility helicopter segment, supporting the government’s push for indigenous aerospace manufacturing.
