Tata Steel sees massive profit surge in Q2 FY26

Tata Steel Q2 FY26 earnings reported on November 12, saw a massive 272% surge in net profit to ₹3,102 crore from ₹833 crore for the September quarter last year. Revenue came in 9% higher at ₹58,689 crore. This is being attributed to higher EBITDA from its operations in the Netherlands, lower losses in the UK, and better results for its India business. Tata Steel is also looking at de-carbonizing operations and restructuring its UK business. Added to that, the company is increasing its downstream business and lowering debt.
