Shares of Ola Electric Mobility are expected to be in limelight since the board of the company has approved the rights issue of almost ₹1,000 crore in Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

As stated by the company, the board has approved the issuance of 37.03 crore partly paid-up equity shares. The value of the issue is expected to be approximately ₹999.74 crore.

The price of the rights issue has been fixed at ₹27 per share. It includes the face value and premium per share of ₹17 per share.

Details of Rights Issue

October 13, 2026, has been set as the record date by the company. This is the day that will determine who will get the rights entitlement.

The rights issue is expected to start on October 22 and end on October 30, 2026.

The shareholders will also be able to sell or transfer their rights entitlement in the market till October 26, 2026.

The ratio of the rights entitlement has been set at 2 shares for every 25 fully paid-up shares held by eligible shareholders.

The complete details regarding the rights issue will be provided in the letter of offer.

Q1 Results of Ola Electric

Ola Electric has announced better Q1 results for the financial year 2026-27.

The net consolidated loss of the company came down to ₹336 crore for the quarter of June. In the same quarter last year, the net loss of the company was ₹428 crore.

In addition, Ola Electric’s performance was better than that of the previous quarter. The net loss for the company in the quarter four of the financial year 2025-26 was ₹500 crore.

But there was a 45 percent decrease in the revenues of Ola Electric from its principal operations to ₹455 crore in the first quarter. The revenue of the company was ₹828 crore in the same quarter last year.

Total expenditure of Ola Electric was reduced to ₹620 crore from ₹1,065 crore last year.

Ola Electric Share Price

Ola Electric shares closed at ₹36.32 on the National Stock Exchange on Wednesday, October 7. The stock appreciated by 1 percent through the day.

The shares of the company have fallen more than 3 percent since the beginning of 2026. The stock has witnessed a fall of approximately 4 percent in the last one month period. However, the stock has appreciated by approximately 26 percent in the last six months period.

The 52-week high for Ola Electric shares was ₹57.95 on October 17, 2025. The 52-week low for the stock was ₹22.25 on March 16, 2026.

The market capitalisation of Ola Electric Mobility as on September 7, 2026, stood at about ₹16,810 crore.

The attention of investors would now focus on the rights issue, financial results and share price movements of the company.
