MOIL has made an announcement regarding the revised prices of manganese ore and associated products, which will be effective from January 1, 2026. These revised prices will be applicable for January 2026 and will be effective from the midnight of December 31, 2025.

The price modifications extend to various levels of manganese ore supplied to the ferro-alloy, steel, chemical, and metal segments. Even as most of the high-grade products have witnessed a rise in prices, certain low-grade products have noted a reduction in their prices. Certain categories are retained without change.

According to the company, the changes are informed by market and demand trends. This development will directly affect the buyers in the steel and alloys industry.

Key changes to pricing from January 1, 2026

  • Prices for every ferro grade of manganese ore with a percentage of manganese of 44 percent and above have increased by 3 percent from the last prices applicable as of December 1, 2025. New prices will apply from January 2026.
  • The prices of all other ferro grades of Manganese Ores based on Manganese content below 44 percent have been increased by 3 percent from the price levels of December 2025.
  • The prices of SMGR grades with a composition of manganese of 30% and Fines grades are hereby increased by 5% over the prices in effect as of December 1, 2025.
  • Prices of SMGR grades containing manganese of 25 percent composition have been decreased by 5 percent against the previously existing prices since December 1, 2025.
  • The prices for each SMGR variety with manganese levels at 20 percent have been lowered by 10 percent from their prices in December 2025.
  • The prices of fines of Metal Mandi varieties such as UKF532, DBF575, and MSF592 have been increased by 10 percent above the earlier prices.
  • The prices of Metal Mandi Fines such as UKF532, DBF575, and MSF592 have been increased by 10 percent over the previous prices.
  • The prices for all chemical grades of manganese ore will remain unchanged and will continue at the same levels as those that were in force as from December 1, 2025.
  • The Basic Price of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide has lowered. There has been a reduction in the price by ₹5,000 per metric tonne; therefore, the price is lowered from ₹1,95,000 per metric tonne to ₹1,90,000 per metric tonne for the month of January 2026.
