JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 24.02 lakh tonnes in July 2026, registering a 3% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared with 23.27 lakh tonnes produced in July 2025.
Indian operations drive production growth
Production from JSW Steel’s Indian operations stood at 23.39 lakh tonnes in July 2026, up 4% YoY from 22.55 lakh tonnes in the corresponding month last year.
The company’s Indian operations recorded capacity utilisation of 87% during July 2026, reflecting steady production levels across its facilities.
Vijayanagar blast furnace ramps up
JSW Steel said BF3 at Vijayanagar is ramping up well following its restart on June 23, 2026. The blast furnace is currently operating at more than 80% of its rated capacity, supporting the company’s production ramp-up.
JSW Steel USA production declines
Production at JSW Steel USA – Ohio stood at 0.63 lakh tonnes in July 2026, down 13% YoY from 0.72 lakh tonnes in July 2025.
Despite the decline in US production, stronger output from the Indian operations helped JSW Steel achieve overall consolidated production growth during the month.
