Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has clarified the delivery status of the LCA Mk1A aircraft for all stakeholders. The company confirmed that five aircraft are fully ready for delivery and include the major capabilities agreed upon in the contract.
In addition, nine more aircraft have already been built and have completed flight activities. These aircraft will be prepared for delivery once the engines are received from GE. All design and development issues identified are being addressed in an expedited manner. HAL is in active discussions with the Indian Air Force to deliver the aircraft at the earliest.
HAL has received five engines from GE to date. The supply position from GE is positive, and the future delivery outlook aligns with HAL’s delivery plans. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited assures that it will meet the guidance projected for the current financial year.
