VOC Port has recorded strong growth in October 2025 and during the April–October period of FY 2025–26. The Port handled 3.94 million tonnes of cargo and 75,110 TEUs in October alone, marking notable year-on-year increases. Cumulative cargo volume reached 25.23 million tonnes and container traffic rose to 5,03,204 TEUs. Operational efficiency improved with vessel turnaround time reduced to 19.20 hours and ship calls increasing to 1,064. The newly commissioned Direct Port Entry (DPE) facility contributed significantly, handling 17,506 TEUs. Major commodities such as petroleum products, fertilizers, salt, and construction materials also registered robust growth, reinforcing the Port’s expanding trade capabilities.
