Coforge Limited has said that it is strengthening its strategic alliance with Pegasystems, known popularly as Pega. Coforge is a global company that offers technology and engineering services while Pega is a software firm that offers software to make the best of artificial intelligence (AI), automation of tasks, and customer management.
As per the terms of the strategic alliance, Coforge shall have the ability to develop, bundle, brand, and sell solution packages based on Pega technologies. Thus, Coforge would be able to provide full AI-based business transformation services to its customers worldwide.
The technology offering from Pega includes AI-powered decision-making, workflow automation, and customer engagement. On the other hand, Coforge adds value in the form of industry insights, consulting, technology skills, and global delivery capabilities. The combination of strengths of both these companies shall allow customers to receive complete technology solutions via an easier business model.
Pega’s technology could be combined with Coforge consulting, implementation, engineering, and managed services to give customers all of the required services under one roof.
The expanded partnership is expected to lead to better project management and quicker launches of innovative technology solutions for companies. It may help avoid delays and provide business value from technology investments for the customers.
Moreover, the two companies are expected to collaborate more in the most important markets and industries in the world. By combining industry knowledge of Coforge and technology of Pega, repeatable industry solutions will be developed.
As stated by John Speight, President and EU Geo Business Leader at Coforge, more and more companies demand AI and workflow solutions which have a direct business effect. This new partnership allows responding to their requests faster since Pega technology will be combined with Coforge consulting and engineering services.
According to Speight, the partnership will change the approach used by Coforge for delivering Pega solutions to its customers. Now it will not be limited only by reselling software and will involve developing Pega-powered solutions by Coforge itself.
According to Leon Trefler, Chief of Clients and Markets at Pega, this partnership will allow customers to go from planning to implementation faster. Among others, Coforge’s experience in such areas as insurance, travel, transportation, financial services and others was noted by Trefler.
In general, the expanded partnership should facilitate modernization of outdated systems, process automation, decreasing technology issues and development of more flexible AI-driven workflows.
