The leadership churn at LTIMindtree continues as the company has announced that its president and board member Sudhir Chaturvedi has quit.
Chaturvedi, who was reportedly the frontrunner to be the next CEO of the company, stepped down from his present role for pursuing opportunities elsewhere.
“He has been a valued member of the erstwhile LTI Board & presently the LTIMindtree Board since 2016, providing significant contributions to the Company’s strategic direction and growth,” LTIMindtree said in a press statement while making the announcement.
“From fostering strong relationships with some of our most esteemed clients to stepping in during critical moments of troubleshooting, Sudhir consistently demonstrated exceptional strategic acumen and a steadfast passion to excellence. He has been a great colleague and a friend for life,” said SN Subrahmanyan, Chairman of LTIMindtree said in an exchange filing.
With Chaturvedi’s resignation, it is to be seen who is going to head LTIMindtree next as the incumbent CEO, Debashis Chatterjee’s term will end later this year.
Current Chief Operating Officer, Nachiket Deshpande is now seen as the favourite to take over as the next CEO unless some external candidate is brought in.
