Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Thursday posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 13,718 crore, an increase of 12.2% as compared to same period last year.
Its revenue was at Rs 70,698 crore, 9.6% up year-on-year (YoY) basis.
In dollar term, TCS clocked a revenue of $7.62 billion, which was an increase of 1.2 per cent in constant currency in Q4 of FY26 over the previous quarter.
Operating margin of the company came at 25.3%, up 10 basis points over the previous quarter.
“We are pleased to report the third consecutive quarter of sequential growth, supported by three mega deals and a $12 billion TCV (total contract value). It is equally encouraging that this momentum was broad based across major markets and most industries. While the macro-economic headwinds continue, we see sustained customer conviction in technology investments, which positions us well for the opportunities ahead,” K Krithivasan, CEO of TCS said.
Revenue for FY26 declined in constant currency term:
TCS’ profit for FY26 came at Rs 49,210 crore, which an increase of 1.4% over the previous year.
Revenue grew 4.6% YoY to Rs 2,67,021 crore during the last financial year.
However, revenue in dollar term stood at $30.01 billion, which was a degrowth of 2.4% over the previous year in constant currency term.
The operating margin of the company for FY26 stood at 25% excluding one-offs. The operating margin for FY26 came at 4-year high.
Strong deal pipeline:
The company reported strong deal pipeline with a TCV of $40.7 billion for FY26 and at $12 billion for fourth quarter. The IT major won 3 mega deals for the quarter and 5 mega deals for the year.
