Pune, 22 March 2026

JSW Cement has started production at its new integrated cement plant in Nagaur, Rajasthan, marking its entry into North India.
With this, the company’s total cement grinding capacity has increased to 24.1 MTPA, while clinker capacity stands at 9.74 MTPA.

The Nagaur plant includes:

  • 3.30 MTPA clinker unit
  • 2.50 MTPA grinding unit
  • Additional 1.00 MTPA grinding unit under construction

The plant will serve Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and NCR markets.

The project is partly funded through IPO proceeds, with ₹800 crore allocated for the unit.

Managing Director Parth Jindal said,

“The Nagaur facility is a key step in our plan to become a pan-India player. With this, we enter the fast-growing North India market and move closer to our target of 41.85 MTPA capacity by FY29.”

CEO Nilesh Narwekar said,

“North India is a high-growth region with strong infrastructure development. The Nagaur plant will help us deliver eco-friendly cement and strengthen our presence in these markets.”

The plant also includes sustainability features such as alternative fuel usage, a 7 km conveyor belt, and a planned 16 MW waste heat recovery system.
