Vedanta Aluminium Metal shares are likely to remain in focus on Monday, August 10, after its subsidiary Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) emerged as the preferred bidder for the Karlapat bauxite block in Odisha. The development is significant for the aluminium producer as it is expected to strengthen access to a key raw material and support the company’s strategy of increasing backward integration. The latest development comes shortly after Vedanta Aluminium reported strong first-quarter financial performance and began trading as an independent listed entity following the Vedanta Group’s demerger.
