TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks, the first corporate developer in India’s industrial infrastructure sector, has invested approximately ₹250 crore to develop a state-of- the-art Grade-A industrial and logistics park on 17 acres of land in Visakhapatnam. This facility marks another milestone in TVS ILP’s growth journey as it expands its pan-India network of industrial parks with world-class infrastructure.

Strategically located just 21 km from Vizag Airport, 28 km from Vizag Railway Station, and 32 km from Vizag Port, the park also has direct access to the Chennai–Kolkata Highway. The land was allocated through the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC), which facilitated acquisition and expedited approvals. The park is being developed in multiple phases, with 4 lakh sq. ft. of ready-to-move space already available.

Key features include 12-metre clear height, LED lighting, and solar-powered streetlights with daylight sensors, Advanced fire-fighting systems, Wide internal roads for smooth truck movement, High floor load capacity, Dual flushing systems and low-flow water fixtures, and more.

Sustainability has been prioritized with rainwater harvesting, 100% reuse of treated wastewater, and renewable energy adoption, making the park ESG-compliant and future-ready. Once fully operational, the built-to-suit (BTS) facility is expected to generate over 1,000 jobs, contributing significantly to the local economy.

Aditi Kumar, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said, “Visakhapatnam’s strategic location along the Bay of Bengal makes it a natural hub for warehousing and logistics. With one of India’s busiest ports, it serves as a gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and beyond. TVS ILP’s park is designed to leverage this connectivity and cater to high-growth sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, 3PLs, automobiles, electronics, and seafood processing. Through this development, we aim to accelerate industrial growth, enable trade, and create employment opportunities across South India.”

Visakhapatnam is also witnessing major infrastructure upgrades, including the upcoming Bogapuram International Airport and enhanced connectivity along the Chennai–Kolkata corridor. These developments are set to transform the city into one of India’s fastest-growing economic hubs. With its world-class facility, TVS ILP is well-positioned to support this growth and strengthen its leadership in the warehousing and logistics sector in South India.
