Mid-tier IT services firm, Tech Mahindra announced its collaboration with Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV to create and produce content spanning various genres for the global entertainment sector.
This partnership will integrate Fuji TV’s original content with Tech Mahindra’s localization and animation services, as per a statement from the company.
“We have partnered with Fuji TV to bring their content library in various local languages to Indian audiences…We see great potential in developing IPs catering to the Indian, Japanese, and other major content markets,” said Harshvendra Soin, President, Asia Pacific and Japan Business at Tech Mahindra.
In the statement, Tech Mahindra mentioned that it will help Fuji TV adapt its content for the Indian audience by providing services like dubbing, subtitling, and animation.
It will also support Fuji TV in licensing its content to OTT and PayTV services in both India and Japan.
Toru Ota, the executive Vice President of Fuji Television Network, stated that their aim is to grow their business in India and produce innovative content with global appeal.
