According to Tech Mahindra’s annual report, the CEO, Mohit Joshi, earned Rs 67.5 crore for FY26. This figure represents an increase of 11.7% compared to the previous financial year.

Joshi’s remuneration consisted of fixed salary, performance-linked bonuses, and stock option income. As per the company’s annual report, his bonus and variable pay have been aligned to the performance targets set by the remuneration committee of the board of directors.

Among major IT companies in India, Joshi earned more than Srinivas Pallia of Wipro (Rs 45 crore), and K Krithivasan of Tata Consultancy Services (Rs 28 crore). However, Joshi earned less than Salil Parekh of Infosys (Rs 81 crore) and C Vijayakumar of HCLTech (Rs 30.7 crore).

The annual report showed that the total remuneration of the CEO was more than 1,000 times higher than the salary of the median employee of the company. Also, the salary of the median employee declined by nearly 5% in the period. Tech Mahindra has more than 119,000 employees at the end of FY26.

Chairman of the group Anand Mahindra got Rs 1.52 crore salary in the year.

Addressing the investors in his note, he said that artificial intelligence (AI) must be considered a huge opportunity instead of being perceived as a threat. In his view, AI will revolutionize the technology sector, transform the way we work, and provide massive growth opportunities to firms.

As per Mohit Joshi, the current fiscal year was a year of improving trends for Tech Mahindra. Besides, he mentioned that FY27 would be all about growth, execution, and value addition through high-end services. Further, he revealed that Project Fortius would remain significant for the company going forward.

Tech Mahindra showed impressive performance in FY26. The company’s revenues have jumped to Rs 56,815 crore, while the net profits have climbed to Rs 4,811 crore.

The firm stated that booking of large deals is at an all-time high over the past ten years. It plans to invest in consulting services and global capability centers to drive future growth.

Similarly, Tech Mahindra has been placing a significant focus on artificial intelligence. Generative AI is being employed in most of its key client engagements. It has been developing AI solutions as part of Project Indus and Project Garuda. Moreover, the company is a partner in the IndiaAI Mission. Despite having a positive outlook on future growth, the firm cautioned about economic uncertainty affecting client spends on technology projects.
