Odisha ‘Travel Bazaar’ has kicked up from Monday to boost the state’s attractiveness in the tourism sector. The Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is conducting the event.
The 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar, starting from Monday, will be held 27th February 2025 in Bhubaneswar, the department said in a press release.
Sixth Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is a flagship buyer-seller meet, bringing together national and international travel and tour operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and sellers from Odisha. The event, hosted at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium Bhubaneswar, will allow participants to explore the vast tourism offerings of Odisha, the release added.
The primary objective of Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is to aggressively promote Odisha’s tourist destinations to domestic and international markets. The State Government is taking strategic steps to establish Odisha as a diverse tourism hub of global standards, presenting a refreshed vision of the state’s potential.
Around 100 domestic tour operators from over 30 cities across India and more than 30 foreign tour operators from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore, will participate in the event. The event will focus on B2B meetings between 70 sellers from Odisha’s tourism sector and Domestic Tour Operators (DTOs) & Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs), followed by familiarization trips to key tourism destinations such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle.
Over 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings have been arranged with sellers. Additionally, B2G meetings and adventure workshop will be integral parts of the event, the release added.
