Oracle announced a collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) to deliver skills training in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data science to 300,000 students and professionals by 2029. The initiative aims to boost employability and support career growth, while building a future-ready talent pool for an innovation-led economy, and includes over 300 hours of structured learning paths across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), OCI Enterprise AI, OCI Data Science, Oracle APEX, OCI DevOps, and Oracle Security.

“With one of the largest youth populations in the country, Uttar Pradesh is well positioned to build a strong, future-ready workforce,” said Dr. Hari Om, principal secretary, Vocational Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. “Our collaboration with Oracle reflects the state government’s commitment to empowering the next generation of talent by enhancing employability at scale and preparing youth for opportunities in a global, technology-driven economy. This initiative will further strengthen the state’s talent pipeline and support its long-term digital and economic growth.”

“Through this collaboration with Oracle, we are making industry-relevant digital skills training accessible to learners across Uttar Pradesh at an unprecedented scale. By equipping students and professionals with in-demand skills in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and data science, we are helping create a future-ready workforce aligned with the needs of a rapidly evolving economy,” said Pulkit Khare, mission director, Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission.

The program will be delivered for free as a digital learning experience through UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn, which is a comprehensive training and enablement platform from Oracle University that is used by millions of trainees around the world. UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn provides foundational cloud training as well as professional certifications and additional learning tailored to different skill level and goals. Learners can earn badges alongside professional certifications to showcase their readiness for specialized roles and to help employers identify qualified candidates.

“Oracle is committed to supporting India’s ambition to become a global hub for AI and digital innovation and is proud to provide access to world-class learning resources and skills training to the next generation of leaders,” said Shailender Kumar, senior vice president and regional managing director, Oracle India and NetSuite JAPAC. “Through our collaboration with UPSDM, we are combining Oracle’s global expertise with the state’s integrated state-level training platform to help learners gain in-demand digital skills, enhance employability, and contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s long-term economic growth.”

Oracle University provides access to some of the world’s leading technology experts and practitioners to support AI and cloud technology training and certification all over the world. More than 20 million hours of Oracle University learning content have been viewed globally, and the program has trained more than 3.1 million Oracle certified professionals in the global workforce, including India.
