Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, India’s leading electric 3-wheeler company, has launched its latest e-auto, the ‘Treo Plus’ with a metal body.
In a press release, the company said it has incorporated a metal body to its existing model, the Treo Plus. The new model is priced at Rs 3.58 lakh, ex-showroom.
Commenting on the new launch, Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility said, “At Mahindra, we actively listen to our customers and their satisfaction is our priority. We’re excited to offer customers with more choices with the introduction of the metal bodied Treo. The Treo Metal Body will continue to delight customers with its reliability, lower TCO and help build their micro-entrepreneurship journey.”
Mahindra has taken many initiatives to make the Treo Plus accessible and appealing to customers, the company said. It has been offering extending loan tenures, attractive finance options and low down payment schemes to make the model more popular. The inclusion of a 5-year/120,000 km standard warranty on the Treo Plus is another important incentive given to customers.
Under UDAY programme, Mahindra is offering accident insurance cover to Treo drivers of Rs 10 lakh for the first year. “Overall, Mahindra’s customer-centric approach, coupled with the Treo Plus’s features and performance, makes it a compelling option for anyone in the market for an electric 3-wheeler,” the company said.
Mahindra said it has sold over 50,000 units sold so far with lower carbon footprint coming from its vehicles.
