Karman Drones, a leading player in drone technology space, has entered into a five-year partnership with Troop Comforts Limited (TCL), a Government of India-owned defence enterprise under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
This strategic collaboration aims to disrupt India’s aerospace sectors by co-developing and manufacturing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) across various categories.
The partnership seeks to harness the expertise of both entities to design and develop cutting-edge UAS and UAV solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of the Indian Defence forces, paramilitary forces, police organizations, central government organizations, state government organizations, and the civil sector, the company said in a press release.
This collaborative endeavour is poised to bolster India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem, promoting indigenous military gear and ‘Made in India’ defence initiatives. With TCL’s four manufacturing units across the country and Karman Drones’ innovative technology, this partnership is expected to make a significant impact on India’s defence landscape.
