Equity mutual fund inflows rebounded sharply in June 2026, with investors stepping up allocations across most equity categories despite market volatility. According to the latest Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) data released on July 10, net inflows into equity schemes rose 26.5% month-on-month to nearly ₹28,973 crore from ₹22,907 crore in May. Mid-cap and small-cap funds continued to attract the strongest investor interest, while sectoral/thematic, large-cap and large & mid-cap funds also posted healthy gains. Gold ETFs staged a strong comeback after witnessing outflows in May, even as SIP contributions hit a fresh high and the industry’s assets under management climbed to nearly ₹82 lakh crore.
