Pune, 29 Jan 2025

HCLTech has boosted its credentials as an employer of choice worldwide by emerging as a Global Top Employer for the third consecutive year.

HCLTech has been certified as Top Employer by Top Employers Institute in 26 countries, with No. 1 ranking in 18 of these. The company has also been recognized as No. 1 Top Employer in three key geographies of its operations—North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

HCLTech is among only 17 companies worldwide recognized as Global Top Employers for their outstanding people practices. The company saw a marked improvement in the Top Employer recognitions this year as it secured No. 1 ranking in all three key geographies while the count of countries with No. 1 ranking increased to 18 from 15 in 2024. The certification re-affirms HCLTech’s commitment to its people by helping them maximize their potential and building an inclusive and progressive workplace.

“The 2025 Top Employer certification underscores our commitment to creating an empowering, inclusive and supportive workplace that offers growth opportunities to all our employees. At HCLTech, we help employees ‘find their spark’ and achieve their career aspirations,” said Ramachandran Sundararajan, Chief People Officer, HCLTech.

The 26 countries where HCLTech received Top Employer certification are: Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Finland, Germany, Guatemala, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK, US and Vietnam.

HCLTech was recognized by Forbes as one of the World’s Best Employers for the fifth consecutive year in 2024, making it the only India-headquartered company in the professional services category to be among the global top 10 for five years in a row. Recent recognitions for the company include:

  • No.1 ranked India-headquartered company in TIME’s list of World’s Best Companies 2024
  • Recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Reliable Companies 2025
  • Included in Forbes list of Best Employers for New Grads in 2024

“In a time of constant change—where technological, economic and social shifts are ever-present—exceptional times bring out the best in people and organizations. This year’s Top Employers Certification Program has showcased this strength, with the certified Top Employers for 2025 demonstrating outstanding dedication to their employees globally,” said David Plink, CEO, Top Employers Institute.

The Top Employers Institute program certifies organizations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey, which covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics, including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, talent development, diversity and inclusion, people wellbeing, people engagement, sustainability and more.
