Redington is a crucial distributor of Apple products in India. The company distributes Apple devices to various retail outlets and businesses across India. With Apple bringing out the latest iPhone models, there could be increased demand for the distribution services offered by Redington.
Apple has unveiled the latest iPhone 18 series in India. According to a PTI report, the new iPhones are likely to be priced between 20% and 43% more than the earlier models. Analysts said that the increase in prices is mainly because of the high costs of the memory components and the depreciation of the Indian currency.
Furthermore, Apple has launched the iPhone Duo, which is its first entry in the foldable smartphone category. The device is going to be made available in India at a cost of about ₹3 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh. This would mean that the device falls in the premium category of smartphones.
Analysts have predicted that the iPhone Duo will manage to capture about 24% of the foldable smartphone market. The device will face stiff competition from Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, which has been priced between ₹1.79 lakh and ₹2.6 lakh depending upon the storage size.
Additionally, Apple is also offering the high-end iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max variants in India. As per Apple’s official website, the pricing of the iPhone 18 Pro is between ₹1,64,900 to ₹3,14,900, and that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max is between ₹1,79,900 to ₹3,29,900.
The prices of the above-mentioned iPhones are higher than those of the previous models namely, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
