Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalized a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat through its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited (AHEJa5L).
The company said in an exchange filing that, with the commissioning of the project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 19,835.8 MW, while its operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity stands at 3,366 MWh.
The newly commissioned solar project forms part of AGEL’s expanding renewable energy portfolio and strengthens its presence in Khavda, Gujarat, a key hub for large-scale clean energy development in India.
Adani Green continues to scale up its renewable and energy storage capacity as it advances its clean energy growth strategy and supports India’s transition to sustainable power generation.
