HCL Software said in an exchange filing that it has acquired a 100% stake in Wobby BV, an Agentic AI software startup headquartered in Belgium, through Actian Germany GmbH, a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Wobby provides AI Data Analyst ‘Agents’ that enable users to query complex datasets using a natural language interface and receive actionable insights instantly. The solution is powered by a proprietary semantic layer and agentic architecture that interprets business context, automates complex workflows, and delivers high-quality analytical output at scale. It complements the knowledge graph capabilities of the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
The acquisition was completed on February 20, 2026.
