Coffee prices closed lower on Monday in international markets, according to the Coffee Board of India. Both Arabica and Robusta futures fell as traders booked profits after recent gains.
On ICE New York, December Arabica futures dropped 5.85 US cents, or 1.55%, to settle at 372.20 US cents per pound. March 2026 contracts also slipped to 355.55 US cents per pound. In Indian terms, December Arabica was priced at ₹728.25 per kg.
In the Robusta market, ICE Europe saw November contracts fall by 15 dollars to 4,186 US dollars per tonne, a decline of 0.36%. January 2026 futures were also weaker at 4,174 US dollars per tonne. In India, Robusta for November was quoted at ₹371.51 per kg.
The ICO (International Coffee Organization) indicator price for Other Mild Arabica stood at 391.25 US cents per pound (₹765.52 per kg), while Robusta was at 201.34 US cents per pound (₹393.94 per kg).
Analysts said the drop reflected short-term corrections in the market as traders adjusted positions. However, demand is expected to remain stable in the coming weeks, supported by strong consumption in Europe, the US, and Asia.
