Honeywell reported the expansion of its aftermarket support with Philippine Airlines, providing multi-year repair and overhaul services for the Airline’s Honeywell-made Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) across its Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 fleets. This collaboration expands a long-standing partnership and underscores both companies’ commitment to reliable, efficient operations. This expansion is in addition to the existing 131-9A APU repair and overhaul support for the Airbus A320 fleet of Philippine Airlines.

The scope of support includes the 331-350 APU on Airbus A330 aircraft and the 331-500 APU on Boeing 777 aircraft over the next two years.

“This collaboration with Philippine Airlines highlights our shared focus on reliability, efficiency, and growth. Honeywell’s advanced APU technologies and aftermarket expertise will help enhance performance and operational continuity for Philippine Airlines fleet, further reinforcing our role as a trusted technology partner in Asia-Pacific,” said Eric Ai, Vice President, Airlines, Asia Pacific, Honeywell Aerospace.

“Honeywell has been a dependable technology partner for Philippine Airlines, and this expanded support is expected to help us drive greater efficiency, reliability, and safety across our fleet. This collaboration supports our ability to deliver world-class service standards and provide seamless travel experiences for our passengers worldwide.”

“We are confident that Honeywell’s comprehensive support for our APUs will further strengthen the efficiency and reliability of our operations. This collaboration helps us maintain operational excellence while ensuring safe and reliable service for our passengers worldwide.” said Alvin Kendrich Limqueco, Senior Vice President – Chief Supply Chain Officer, Philippine Airlines.

Founded in 1941, Philippine Airlines is Asia’s first airline and today operates a fleet of Airbus A320/A321, A330, A350, and Boeing 777 aircraft serving key destinations across Asia, North America, and beyond. With this expanded support, Honeywell continues to provide advanced APU solutions that enable PAL to deliver dependable and cost-effective air travel.
