Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the phone today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
President Zelenskyy shared his views on the recent situation in Ukraine.
The Prime Minister thanked him and repeated India’s clear position in favor of a peaceful resolution to the conflict and support for efforts to restore peace as soon as possible. He also assured that India will continue to provide all possible help in this regard.
Both leaders reviewed the progress in India-Ukraine relations and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in different areas of mutual interest.
They agreed to stay in touch.
