Reliance Industries has announced steps to ensure uninterrupted access to essential fuels for Indian households by ramping up domestic supply, amid rising volatility in global energy markets.
The company said it is maximizing LPG production from its refining and petrochemical complexes at Jamnagar Refinery—the world’s largest integrated refining hub. Reliance stated that teams are working round the clock to optimize refinery operations and increase LPG output to keep supplies to the domestic market stable and reliable.
Natural gas produced from the KG-D6 Basin will also be diverted to priority sectors in accordance with national energy priorities and government guidelines.
The company emphasized that India’s energy security and the well-being of millions of households remain a top priority. Reliance said it will continue to work closely with the Government of India and remain fully compliant with all national guidelines and allocation priorities to ensure that energy supplies reach sectors and communities that need them most.
Reliance added that during times of global uncertainty it remains committed to supporting India’s energy security and ensuring reliable access to essential fuels for the country.
