Paradip Port continues to play a key role in India’s crude oil imports, with MT. LLEVANT completing its operations at the SPM-3 terminal. The vessel, carrying 117,050 MT of crude oil for IOCL PLD, arrived on 7 October and berthed on 11 October, handling 68,767 MT before sailing later the same day. The total crude oil handled at the terminal so far stands at 116,650 MT.
Looking ahead, the port expects a busy week with five crude oil vessels scheduled to arrive between 14 and 19 October, carrying a combined total of approximately 603,000 MT of crude oil. The upcoming arrivals include:
- MT. DESH SHANTI – 135,673 MT, JMB berth, ETA 14 October
- MT. UTAKI – 99,589 MT, ISIPL berth, ETA 15 October
- MT. BALTIC LOYALTY – 132,990 MT, WILHELMSEN berth, ETA 17 October
- MT. ELEOVRYTISSA – 99,570 MT, ISIPL berth, ETA 18 October
- MT. DESH SHOBHA – 135,098 MT, JMB berth, ETA 19 October
The steady inflow of crude oil underscores Paradip Port’s strategic importance in meeting India’s energy demands and supporting the operations of major oil players like IOCL.
