LinkedIn recently unveiled an AI-powered tool to aid the right job finding process for applicants and the proper talent hunt by recruiters. With this tool, applicants will get an idea about the similarity between their skills and experience and that of open jobs.
With one click, job seekers will get detailed insights into the qualifications they meet and the ones they might be missing. This will allow them to decide whether to apply or focus on jobs that are a better match for their skills. LinkedIn hopes this feature will help users focus on opportunities where they are more likely to get a response.
A new feature, called “Job Match,” will be available globally in English and plans to add more languages in the future. The new feature is at a time when both job seekers and recruiters are facing challenges. According to LinkedIn’s new report, 82% of professionals in India are looking for a new job this year, but 55% feel that the job search has become harder. Many job seekers today are applying for more jobs compared to before and getting fewer responses.
On the recruiting side, 69 percent of HR persons in India mention that it is much harder to locate qualified talent now. Many are spending hours analyzing applications, only to find out that less than half of all applications meet every qualification. Here is how this new feature by LinkedIn will help overcome these challenges when connecting job seekers and recruiters with each other.
It also shows a rating with the feature in terms of if a candidate fits a job – high, medium, or low. Premium also allows users the use of AI tools to fine-tune the resume and even the cover letter. LinkedIn helps job seekers come out on top and find work, even in hard times.
