JSW Steel’s Q3 production was affected owing to maintenance activity in its Vijayanagar plant in Karnataka. However, the crude steel production for 9 months of FY26 showed a healthy 12% rise.

- Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar is under shutdown for upgradation of capacity from end of September 2025 and is expected to be commissioned by end of Q4 FY26.
