India’s coffee exports reached 3.11 lakh tonnes between January 1 and October 16, 2025, according to the Coffee Board of India. The shipments were valued at $1.68 billion (₹14,529 crore).
Compared to the same period in 2024, exports were slightly lower in volume but higher in value, indicating better prices and stronger demand for premium grades. Robusta Cherry remained the largest export segment, followed by Instant Coffee and Arabica Plantation varieties.
Italy, Germany and Russia were the top buyers, together accounting for a major share of India’s coffee shipments. Other key destinations included Belgium, the UAE, Turkey and Libya.
Among exporters, CCL Products India Ltd, Olam Food Ingredients, and Allana Consumer Products led the list, each shipping more than 20,000 tonnes during the period.
The Coffee Board noted that improved global prices and stable domestic supply helped maintain steady performance despite fluctuations in global trade.
India continues to strengthen its position as a reliable source of both green and instant coffee, with export demand driven by consistent quality and expanding processing capacity.
