Coffee prices remained elevated this week, supported by tightening global supplies and steady demand from major consuming regions. According to the International Coffee Organization (ICO), the Other Milds category stood at 400.15 US cents per lb, while Robustas were priced at 218.96 US cents per lb as of October 29, 2025. The strength in Mild Arabica varieties reflects ongoing weather-related disruptions in key Latin American growing regions, coupled with reduced exports from Central America.
In the futures market, ICE New York Arabica contracts traded at 392.00 cents per lb for December 2025, while LIFFE London Robusta futures were quoted at $4,622 per ton for November 2025. Forward contracts indicated slight softness into early 2026, with traders anticipating potential easing in supply constraints if upcoming harvests improve. However, persistent concerns over logistics, climate impacts, and currency volatility continue to lend firm support to coffee prices in the near term.
