DCNT Global, a leader in innovative energy and data center solutions, announced that it has commissioned its cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) plant in Khed City, Chakan, Pune. With a robust three-gigawatt-hour (GWh) capacity, this fully automated facility is set to commence production in the third quarter of 2025, marking a transformative milestone in India’s pursuit of a sustainable energy future.
Strategically located in the thriving industrial hub of Khed City, Chakan, the plant leverages advanced automation technologies to deliver high-efficiency, sustainable energy storage solutions. This facility aligns with India’s ambitious renewable energy targets, supporting the nation’s goal of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030. By enabling grid stability and facilitating the integration of solar and wind energy, the plant plays a pivotal role in reducing carbon emissions and strengthening India’s energy security.
The 3GWh plant is designed to meet the growing demands of industries, utilities, and communities worldwide while contributing to India’s National Solar Mission and Green Energy Corridor initiatives.
