Cognizant has appointed Thirumala (Thiru) Arohi as its Chief Learning officer, a post which the company created amid changing contours of global IT services industry. Arohi will report to Kathy Diaz, Chief People Officer, the company said..
Previously, Arohi was the Executive Vice President and Head of Education, Training & Assessment, and Learning Platforms at Infosys. He has hands-on experience of building scalable learning ecosystems in the digital education space.
In the new role, Arohi will lead Cognizant’s global learning and development function. He will be responsible for reimagining learning programs and platforms, exploring new upskilling models and partnerships, and driving thought leadership on talent, technology, and the future of work, the compnay said.
