Shares of Bharat Forge Ltd advanced from ₹1,218.50 on October 1, 2025 to ₹1,478.20 on January 2, 2026, registering a gain of about 21% over the three-month period.

The stock saw added momentum after the company, on December 30, announced that the Ministry of Defence had awarded it a ₹1,661.9 crore contract for the supply of 255,128 CQB Carbines (5.56 x 45 mm) to the Indian Army.
