Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured fresh orders valued at ₹596 crore since its last disclosure on January 1, 2026. This latest influx of contracts underscores BEL’s pivotal role in bolstering India’s indigenous defence ecosystem and its growing prominence in advanced electronic systems for the armed forces.
The major orders include cutting-edge drone detection and jamming systems, mobile communication terminals, software solutions, as well as upgrades, spares and associated services. These acquisitions highlight the increasing demand for counter-drone technologies amid evolving security threats, alongside reliable communication and support systems for military operations.
Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) shares closed today at ₹415.65, reflecting steady investor interest in the defence PSU.
