Agritech startup, KisanKonnect has raised Rs 72 crore ($8 million) in its Pre-Series A funding round led by Bajaj Finserv Group, the company has said.
Mistry Ventures, Desai Brothers, Dhanuka Agritech and Action Tessa Family also participated in this round of fund raise.
Founded in 2020 by Nirmal and Nidhi Nirmal, KisanKonnect operates in the fresh fruit and vegetable space. The company sells fresh fruits and vegetables via its app and website in under 60-minute in Mumbai and Pune. It also operates stores that sell fresh produce offline.
“We have built proprietary tech tools and strong farmer partnerships that transform perishables logistics into a predictable, scalable, and consumer-friendly model. This fundraise will help us expand our technology stack, deepen our farmer network, and scale both our digital and offline presence,” Vivek Nirmal, co-founder of KisanKonnect said.
