The Adani Group plans to invest $10 billion into energy and infrastructure projects in the US, Chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani said. He announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) about his group’s investment commitment in energy and infrastructure sectors.
Adani also congratulated the newly elected US President Donald Trump.
“Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump,” he wrote. “As the partnership between India and the United States deepens, the Adani Group is committed to leveraging its global expertise and invest $10 billion in US energy security and resilient infrastructure projects, aiming to create up to 15,000 jobs.”
The group, however, didn’t any timeline or specifics of the projects that will see investment from the group.
Meanwhile, with Trump administration all set to take over reins from next year, the US is likely to see changes related to oil and gas sector in the coming months.
Trump has used the slogan “Drill, baby, drill” in his victory speech to showcase his stance on the oil sector, promising to increase oil production in the US. Against this backdrop, Adani Group’s plans to invest in energy sector are likely to drive its future growth.
