Accenture is planning to establish a new campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh that will create around 12,000 jobs in India, a Reuters report said.
According to the report, company has requested for around 10 acres of land in coastal city of Visakhapatnam for setting up the campus.
India is one of the largest employee base of the Nasdaq-listed IT services & consulting firm as the company employs more than 300,000 employees out of its total 790,000 staffers globally.
The proposal is significant amid difficulty in securing H1B visas from next year as the US administration imposes $100,000 entry fee for sending technology professionals to work in client projects in the US.
