Avenue Supermarts Ltd. (ASL), one of the largest food & grocery retailers in India, declared its standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026.
Standalone results
Total Revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 stood at ₹19,206 crore, as compared to ₹16,219 crore in the same period last year. Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) in Q2FY27 stood at ₹1,403 crore, as compared to ₹1,230 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. EBITDA margin stood at 7.3% in Q2FY27 as compared to 7.6% in Q2FY26.
Net Profit stood at ₹804 crore for Q2FY27, as compared to ₹747 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. PAT margin stood at 4.2% in Q2FY27 as compared to 4.6% in Q2FY26.
Total Revenue for H1FY27 stood at ₹37,550 crore, as compared to ₹32,151 crore in the same period last year. Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) in H1FY27 stood at ₹2,930 crore, as compared to ₹2,543 crore during H1FY26. EBITDA margin stood at 7.8% in H1FY27 as compared to 7.9% in H1FY26.
Net Profit stood at ₹1,739 crore for H1FY27, as compared to ₹1,576 crore in H1FY26. PAT margin stood at 4.6% in H1FY27 as compared to 4.9% in H1FY26.
Basic Earnings per share (EPS) for H1FY27 stood at ₹26.67, as compared to ₹24.22 for H1FY26.
Consolidated results
Total Revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 stood at ₹19,644 crore, as compared to ₹16,676 crore in the same period last year. Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) in Q2FY27 stood at ₹1,393 crore, as compared to ₹ 1,214 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. EBITDA margin stood at 7.1% in Q2FY27 as compared to 7.3% in Q2FY26.
Net Profit stood at ₹ 743 crore for Q2FY27, as compared to ₹ 685 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. PAT margin stood at 3.8% in Q2FY27 as compared to 4.1% in Q2FY26. Basic Earnings per share (EPS) for Q2FY27 stood at ₹11.40, as compared to ₹10.53 for Q2FY26.
Total Revenue for H1FY27 stood at ₹38,439 crore, as compared to ₹ 33,036 crore in the same period last year. Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) in H1FY27 stood at ₹2,892 crore, as compared to ₹ 2,513 crore during H1FY26. EBITDA margin stood at 7.5% in H1FY27 as compared to 7.6% in H1FY26.
Net Profit stood at ₹1,603 crore for H1FY27, as compared to ₹ 1,458 crore in H1FY26. PAT margin stood at 4.2% in H1FY27 as compared to 4.4% in H1FY26.
Basic Earnings per share (EPS) for H1FY27 stood at ₹24.60 as compared to ₹22.41 for H1FY26.
D-Mart follows Everyday low cost – Everyday low price (EDLC-EDLP) strategy which aims at procuring goods at competitive prices, using operational and distribution efficiency and thereby delivering value for money to customers by selling at competitive prices.
Anshul Asawa, Managing Director & CEO, Avenue Supermarts Limited commented on the performance of the DMart (Brick and Mortar) Business, ” Our revenue in Q2 FY27 grew by 18.4% over the previous year. Profit after tax (PAT) grew by 7.6% over the previous year. Two years and older DMart stores grew by 9.5% during Q2 FY27 as compared to 6.8% in Q2 FY26.
We remain committed to offering best value to our customers. Our pricing proposition thus remains strong in an inflationary environment. Wage inflation at entry-level has led to a marginal increase in operating expenses.
We opened 15 new stores during the quarter taking our total store count to 518.”
