National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has paid a dividend of ₹2,112.12 crore for FY 2025–26, representing 230% on equity shares with a face value of ₹5 each. This is the highest-ever dividend paid by the company.
The Government of India received ₹1,083.06 crore as its share of the dividend. The dividend cheque was handed over to G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal & Mines, Government of India, during an investor roadshow on Angul Aluminium Park held in Kolkata.
Keshav Chandra, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Government of India, was also present. The cheque was handed over by Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO. Jagdish Arora, Director (P&T), Abhaya Kumar Behuria, Director (Finance), and other senior officials from NALCO and the Ministry of Mines were also present.
NALCO reported a strong performance in FY 2025–26, with a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹5,815.76 crore. During the year, the company declared and paid a total dividend of ₹2,112.12 crore, comprising three interim dividends and a final dividend out of the total dividend, ₹1,083.06 crore was paid to the Government of India.
