ESDS Software Q1 profit rises 14%

Recently listed firm in cloud & AI domain ESDS Software Solution witnessed a growth in its net profit during the April-June period of FY27.

The net profit of the company grew by 14% YoY to ₹29.3 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹25.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

But, the profit witnessed a steep decline when compared to the preceding quarter. Net profit recorded a decline of nearly 57% to ₹67.7 crore on a quarter-on-quarter basis (QoQ).

Revenue Performance

The operating revenue of ESDS stood at ₹133.7 crore in Q1 FY27, up by 7.3% from ₹124.6 crore in Q1 FY26.

But, revenue registered a decline of approximately 20.2% from ₹167.5 crore in the previous quarter.

Adding ₹1.5 crore in other income, the total income of the company stood at ₹135.2 crore for the quarter.

About ESDS

Established in 2005, ESDS Software Solution is headquartered at Nashik. The company offers cloud computing, data center, managed services, and AI-enabled digital solutions.

Its clientele includes government organizations and commercial entities. As of March 2026, the company claims to have more than 2,500 clients, including over 170 banking organizations and 100 government organizations.

Successful Market Listing

These are the latest results from the company that made a successful listing in the stock market.

The shares of the company were listed at ₹757 on the NSE, which was about 76.5% higher than its issue price of ₹429.

At BSE, the shares opened at ₹746.30, providing the investors a profit of about 74% over the issue price.

After listing, the share price touched the upper circuit for four consecutive trading days. Later, the price surged to more than four times the IPO issue price.

In its IPO, ESDS had raised ₹720 crores via a new share issue.

Company Expenses

Total company expenses rose to ₹98.7 crore in Q1 FY27. It marked an increase of 8.4% from the same quarter last year and 16.5% from the previous quarter.

Employee expenses went up 6.2% year-over-year (YoY) to ₹25.2 crore, from ₹23.7 crore last year.

Other expenses amounted to ₹52.5 crore, marking an increase of 8.4% from ₹48.4 crore in Q1 FY26.

However, company taxes expense declined 20% YoY to ₹7.2 crore.

Shares of ESDS closed at ₹1,850.15 apiece on the BSE on Thursday.
